Going tropical for your wedding doesn’t have to mean flip flops and straw hats. This week’s alteration is for a formal, elegant tropical venue. Caribbean blue in new typefaces and an added single layer compliments aqua tone accents from the surroundings, including the bridesmaids’ gowns. A sophisticated micro-stripe envelope lining, reminiscent of nautical stripes, sets expectations for a formally dressed groom–beachside! Even the bride’s spaghetti strap neckline perfect for the tropical setting convey elegance through a traditional lace that keeps the tone formal.

Custom Wedding Invitation Alterations

This formal tropical look was achieved with these 5 alterations to the ‘Maritime’ wedding invitation:

  • Removed the pocket
  • Added a soft blue layer
  • Changed the colors
  • Switched out the typefaces
  • Added a micro-stripe envelope lining
